Yes, the people who brought you the SATs really do what you to succeed, believe it or not. is a great resource while applying to college. A great feature you might want to start with is their College Matchmaker, a simple but effective idea. Basically, you fill in your criteria and they give you schools that fit. What is great about this resource is that it will force you to really think about what you want in a school. When I first started looking at schools I wasn’t even thinking about what schools offered financial aid or whether I wanted to live in an urban or rural area or what academic programs I’d be interested in, all of which are important things to consider.

College Board will also help you get organized, which is something many people have a problem with. (Oh, I know I do.) You can create your own College board account which will allow you to form a list of schools you may be interested in. You can compare majors, average SAT scores, tuitions cost and much more! Plus, College Board keeps track of dates that each of these schools require you to submit your test scores, application, housing deposit, etc. so you won’t have to worry!

Remember, these are just a few suggestions to help those of you who are looking for schools gets some ideas. For those of you who are in college currently, check these sites out to see what they say about your school.
